Medications: The SMART Approach (5 CEUs)
This five-hour course will cover Title 22 regulations regarding medication assistance to meet requirements and best practices. This course will prepare participants from all residential facility types on the requirements. It can also serve to prepare line staff participants to assist with the self administration of medications in a residential care facility as well as reviewing training methods so that participants can train others.

This is a five-hour update course that covers the most current information on HIV, AIDS, and TB required for ARF administrators, as well as covering hepatitis, MRSA, and other pertinent diseases in residential care. While the state requirements deal with client issues, there are employee issues as well.
